The long-awaited update!

It has been a long time since I last wrote on my blog, but finally, after many hiccups, I am here. I have learned a lot in the process.

I am about to celebrate another birthday, so this is a good time to talk about where I am in this phase of my life. I will be 81 years old this week. Not a big milestone like last year, but still another sign that life marches on. I am happy to say I am in good health. I am still curious and eager to learn about so many things!

In March of 2024, my husband and I moved to a vibrant and attractive independent living community in southern New Hampshire. We have enjoyed meeting a variety of interesting people here, have made many new friends, and participate in a variety of activities and opportunities to learn new skills and have fun. Not to mention the food is great!

I am still writing. I am enjoying a wonderful course on creative writing just for fun. (I am definitely a lifelong learner!) I am still continuing to write about my life, on a random basis, in the form of essays, rather than a memoir. I want to tell my story before it is too late. It is an interesting tale - one of early trauma followed by a continuing stream of creative adventures. Most likely I will never publish it, but then I just might. I reserve the right to change my mind.
